the plan
the 28th still counts as february, which means we're getting an issue out every month! huzzah! this month, you'll enjoy some poetry, film analysis, and reflections on our new president. dear readers, remember that spring inches ever closer and brings with it warm days and more hours of sunshine. let's put our minds together and see this winter through!
the good
coffeehouse, “sing to me instead” by ben platt (hear me out), “shark mode,” singing a little diddly, layered harmonies, cheffing it up in the kitchen, campbell’s online to-do list, bright blue nail polish, espresso back in the open door (!!!), sixty degree weather, tofu (sometimes), hairless cats wearing sweaters
the bad
coffeehouse, $13 chicken tenders, knee injuries, a sickness in the school, gas station being closed, hearing one of my peers say “skibidi toilet” with no remorse or irony (seriously wtf), singing tenor but I’m an alto, the open door milk steamer still being broken, “me when I don’t like hairless cats”
the ugly
coffeehouse, “feels like: six degrees,” ski patrol, campbell’s writing without spell check, page limits, caffeine relapse, missing 60 percent of this quarter (everyone pray for maisie and her flu/ski-related knee injury!!), whale sex (“grabby dicks”), campbell’s computer, hairless cats (unfortunately)
